All children are welcome to attend St Mary’s Preschool, we are an Early Childhood centre that serves the whole of the Marlborough Community. We feed children into every Primary School in Marlborough from Ward to Marlborough Sounds.
St Mary’s Preschool is a registered Charity and is not for profit which means all of our profit goes towards the preschool enabling high quality staff and resources. We are able to receive and receipt donations.
We charge little to no fees to our families because we believe all children should have the opportunity of receiving a quality Early Childhood Education.
We have a Board of Governors that take care of the governance side of our organisation. This group is made up of parents and Parish Representatives.
Meetings are held monthly and all parents of enrolled children are welcome to attend. We encourage all whānau to be involved with the preschool and join us in fundraising for projects to continue to provide a quality environment and resources.
The Education Review Office | Te Tari Arotake Mātauranga (ERO), the New Zealand government’s external evaluation agency that informs and facilitates improvement in early learning services, kōhanga reo, puna kōhungahunga, kura and schools.
We already had a amazing experience at St Mary's preschool with the learning journey of our first daughter who went off to school, so we decided to enrol our youngest daughter a year ago.
St Mary's preschool feels like a home away from home to us. The passion, dedication and loving care of the close knit Kaiako Team reflects in the happiness, free exploration and easy settling of our daughter who previously had difficulties to adjust to drop offs.
We love the approach to Whānaungatanga - getting families involved to create an environment of connectedness.
Our Family would highly recommend St Mary's to all families who are looking for high quality education, an inclusive and loving place that makes you and your child feel a sense of belonging and nurtures them to grow in the love of Christ.
Arohanui,
Family Hillecke dos Santos
